Shell technology
The protective shell is key to Trex Transcend’s durability. Each board is protected on three sides that face the elements for superior weather protection. The shell, which is three times thicker than that of our competitors, incorporates a 9-element formulation that produces a low-sheen, natural wood appearance. The underside of the deck board breathes in order to avoid surface separation and to ensure long life durability.
