Arbordeck Awards 2019 shortlist revealed

Arbordeck Awards shortlist announced

Yet again the Arbordeck Awards have proved to be a resounding success, with dozens of entries from decking installers the length and breadth of the country – and we’re proud and excited to reveal the 2019 category shortlists.

The judges have narrowed down the shortlist to 15 installers across the five categories – Best Large Trex Deck, Best Small Trex Deck, Best Trex Design Solution, Best Commercial Trex Deck, and, new for 2019, Best Arbordeck Softwood Timber Deck. Any of the shortlisted companies could go on to win the prestigious ‘Deck of the Year’ accolade and the top prize of a trip to Washington DC, complete with a tour of the Trex University.

North Spas deck - Monkridge

Last year’s overall winner, North Spas, is back in the running in the best Trex design solution, alongside former category winner Whalley Construction for best large Trex deck. However, they face stiff competition from a host of other installers, many of whom are shortlisted in the awards for the first time.

The category winners and ‘Deck of the Year’ will be revealed in a lunchtime ceremony hosted in The Brasserie at Futurescape on 19th November 2019, where installers will have the chance to network with the awards judges and learn more about Trex.

Trex is also a Futurescape sponsor, so for anyone considering entering the 2020 Arbordeck Awards, it’s the ideal time to gain some inspiration. The World’s Number 1 composite decking brand is showcasing the best of Trex on the Sponsor 3 stand, complete with complimentary mocktails served by a qualified mixologist at the Trex Bar.

The Trex stand is constructed entirely from Trex Transcend and Trex Enhance, showing off the ‘Good, Better, Best’ options the full range offers, and features curved decking boards, a bar area, and decking board swatches showcasing the full range.
