Spring is here and the 2021 decking season is now in full swing. Decking continues to be a popular choice for homeowners looking to make the most of their outdoor space, and composite decking in particular is becoming increasingly sought after thanks to its durability and lower impact on the planet.

With the demand for composite decking at an all-time high, we’re delighted to be launching a brand new, high quality bound Trex brochure in early May. Read on to find out more about what to expect!

Useful information about Trex

One of the questions our team is often asked by new customers is: ‘Why Trex?’ – and the new brochure is designed to answer this.

It showcases the almost unlimited ways in which Trex composite decking can be incorporated in residential settings for different sizes, configurations and uses, as well as providing interesting information on the brand’s history and ethos.

Trex has been redefining decking for 25 years, and seamlessly combines form and function to create high-performance composite decking which requires minimal maintenance yet offers exceptional durability. It also boasts impressive sustainability credentials: Trex composite decking boards are made from 95 per cent recycled materials, and the company has never felled a tree for decking in its history.

The new Trex brochure covers all of this and more – but for now, you can read about the World’s Number 1 decking brand here.

An array of new products

2021 has already been a busy year for Arbordeck and Trex, with the launch of several new products – all designed to perfectly complement any Trex composite deck.

This year, we launched our new ArborJoist recycled plastic sub-frame system as the ideal installation partner for Trex decking. The system is not only recyclable, but also weather-proof and durable. Another new product, ArborPad, further supports installers, providing them with pedestal supports for suspended decking in order to help to create a flat surface.

Railing is a great addition to decking – not only does it add practical safety elements to the space, but it can further its aesthetic appeal. And as showcased in the new brochure, we now supply three railing options which are all ideally suited to Trex: Trex Signature Railing, ArborRail Stainless Steel & Glass Railing System, and ArborRail Easy Aluminium Glass Railing System.

A handy deck guide

With our customers’ needs in mind, the new Trex brochure features a useful diagram guide for installing Trex decking for best results.

The new components guide advises which products and product types are required for a Trex composite deck and is supported by the extensive list of product specifications also in the brochure, covering a wide range of products available from Arbordeck, from decking boards to screws, and everything in between.

For a more comprehensive guide to installing Trex decking, we’d recommend taking a look at this video.

And we can’t forget the launch of our new-look website, which is also due to go live in May. The improved website has been designed with its users at heart, with expanded video and inspiration content – including a new ‘Show Decks’ functionality – as well as enhanced product and technical information, and a series of downloadable images and assets for our customers to use.
