COMPOSITE DECKING – GOOD; BETTER; BEST!
Trex Transcend® decking has earned its position as the leading premium decking brand in the world, with its unrivalled quality, depth of colour and ease of maintenance.
A Trex Transcend deck is an investment for the future, and the associated price-tag may have led some homeowners to opt for other lower-cost and lower-quality brands. In the past, that might mean they are left disappointed by a sub-standard product that won’t stand the test of time!
That’s why we’re expanding the Trex range in the UK to offer a broader range of products and colours with price points to suit any household.
Next in line to Trex Transcend is the Trex Enhance Naturals collection, which offers homeowners and businesses the beauty of wood with the ease of composite at an affordable price. And the Trex Enhance Basics range is the perfect pairing of price and minimal maintenance, offering an entry-level Trex product that means anyone can enjoy a high-quality deck.
So what’s the difference? Trex Enhance boards are lighter than Transcend thanks to a scalloped core, and the shell is made differently: the warranty still covers against fading and staining, and it still performs exceptionally well against competitors, but it is not quite the same as the Transcend deck, which is unbeatable in terms of its hard wearing and scratch resistance shell.
The Enhance Naturals and Basics ranges both offer all the key benefits customers have come to expect from a Trex deck: solid boards that are capped on three sides to offer maximum protection whilst still allowing the composite core to breath.
The Trex Enhance collection won’t rot or split, whatever the weather, and maintenance is simple, with just a quick wash using soapy water required to bring the deck back to its best. And like Trex Transcend, the Enhance ranges come with a lengthy 25-year warranty for domestic decking, or 10 years for a commercial deck.
COMPOSITE DECKING – TREX TONES
The Enhance collections come in a whole host of beautiful colours to perfectly complement any outdoor space.
Drawing on nature for inspiration, the composite decking collection offers six new shades of Trex, never before seen in this country. So, as well as being able to select Trex Transcend in the silvery-grey tones of Gravel Path and Island Mist or the earthy Spiced Rum, Tiki Torch or Lava Rock, customers can now select their favourite shade of Trex Enhance.
Enhance Naturals decking is available in Foggy Wharf, a light grey that offers a contemporary touch, and the deeper slate-grey of Calm Water. For those who prefer a more natural wood-tone, there’s Toasted Sand, and the light shade, Rocky Harbour, which echoes beautifully-weathered timber.
The Trex Enhance Basics range has a choice of two solid-coloured boards: Saddle, a rich brown, and Clam Shell, a modern grey tone.
