Coastal Elegance: Beams & Braces Transforms Norfolk Deck with Trex Transcend® and Signature® Railing
Step into the enchanting world of coastal elegance as Beams & Braces unveils the mesmerising transformation of decking in Norfolk. In this blog, witness the creative journey and innovative solutions that brought life to every corner, featuring the timeless Trex Transcend® in Island Mist and the striking Trex Signature® Railing in Classic White.
Tasked with rejuvenating a tired timber deck, Beams & Braces, led by Darren, aimed to create a spectacular space for the homeowner. The goal was to offer more room while ensuring a safe and pleasant outdoor haven for the family.
Trex’s Island Mist, a popular choice from the Transcend® collection, set the stage for the two-tiered deck and steps. The contrasting brilliance of Classic White Trex Signature® Railing against the subtle grey tones of the Trex boards created a visually stunning effect.
In a unique design move, the deck featured Island Mist as the picture frame border. Varied angles of the decking boards in different zones highlighted the intricate frame details. A central breaker board accentuated the property’s central post supporting a partial canopy.
Being situated on the Norfolk coast, durability was paramount. Beams & Braces ensured a robust structure, with a well-ventilated subframe and treated, sealed joists to withstand seaside weather conditions.
