The inspiration
TrexPRO Decking by Karl was chosen to replace an existing rotting decking terrace with a modern elevated space to be enjoyed by the whole family.
The detail
Trex Transcend Lineage provided the ideal solution for creating a modern, multi-functional decking space. This new Trex composite decking range, launched in 2023 and available through the TrexPRO Approved Installer Scheme, reflects the latest advances in decking technology without compromising on exceptional durability as supported by an industry-leading residential warranty of 50 years, even with minimal maintenance.
Colour Biscayne, exclusive to the Lineage collection, was selected to complement the deck’s surroundings. This coastal brown shade with light honey hues features a delicate wood grain effect for a naturally beautiful finish.
Karl Harrison at Decking by Karl showcased his creativity and skill in the design and installation of this deck, which features custom steps and has a cantilevered leading edge with the underside painted black for an intriguing floating effect. A wrap-around planter scheme with irrigation for reduced maintenance added the finishing touch to this deck.
